Timothy Busfield is an Emmy award winning actor who played Danny Concannon. He was nominated four times and won one Emmy for his role on thirthysomething. He is a friend of The West Wing creator Aaron Sorkin, and was a castmember of his show Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip. He has appeared as a regular or recurring character on 11 television shows and is also a director for television shows including Sorkin's Sports Night, Ed, thirtysomething and Las Vegas.
He has also starred in over 30 motion pictures, including Stripes, Revenge of the Nerds,Field of Dreams, Sneakers and Quiz Show.
