Robert O'Rourke

Robert Ross O'Rourke (1960-) is a U.S. Senator from Indiana. He was first elected in 1998 and re-elected in 2004.

O'Rourke was born and raised in Fort Wayne, Indiana. In 1981, he graduated from Perdue and three years later from Perdue Law School. In 1988, O'Rourke was elected to the U.S. House of Representatives, holding the seat once held by Dan Quayle. After 10 years in the House, O'Rourke was elected to the U.S. Senate in 1998.
