Nancy was the Assistant to the Executive Secretary during all seven seasons of The West Wing. Nancy would often remind the President of schedule obligations, or assist Charlie Young in duties of the outer office. She was an assistant to Dolores Landingham and Deborah Fiderer.

She was portrayed by Renee Estevez, Martin Sheen's daughter. In the final episode, President Bartlet tells Nancy to tell her mother that he is looking forward to seeing her again, suggesting that the two have a personal friendship.
