Marlee Martin is an Academy Award winning and Emmy nominated actress who played Joey Lucas on all seven seasons of The West Wing. The deaf actress is best known for her Oscar winning role in Children of a Lesser God, which was her first film role. Recently she has been nominated for an Emmy for her appearance on Law and Order:SVU and, despite her handicap, appeared on Dancing With the Stars and was a cast member for the final three seasons of The L Word.
