Christopher Wick was elected to the House of Representatives as a Democrat in 1998, thanks to help from Josh Lyman, part of Josiah Bartlet's campaign team. However due to having only one photo-op with the president, and that being shared with 16 other Representatives, he changed his position to be against a gun control bill. He switched back the next day in return for a one-on-one photo-op with Bartlet.
