Ben Zaharian was cited in Season 2, episode 10 as making statement that Bartlet might not support. He gave a speech the night previous regarding the perils of drilling the north slope. During the Q&A, he said that the idea of tapping into the strategic petrolium reserves to ease the price of gas had some merits. CJ Cregg did damage control, as per usual, and took care of the situation.
