Joe Allard, Governor of Kansas, was a strong candidate in the Iowa Caucus, won the Iowa Caucuses with 33% of the vote with Walken a close third. Unfourtunately his numbers did not improve after he lost the New Hampshire Primary, 2006 to Arnold Vinick. He however, won the Maine Caucuses, 2006. He later withdrew and supported Vinick. Allard has not ruled out a run in 2010 Presidential Election but polling shows him significantly behind in tracking polls.
